Over the weekend, Spirit Halloween debuted two more halfway-to-Halloween reveals, unveiling two of its animatronics for 2024.
Clowning Around
Spirit Halloween kicked off its weekend reveals with the return of Clowning Around, a seven-foot-tall, diabolical clown to whom we were first introduced in 2020. The giant black and white clown flails two of his victims around as he rotates side to side. The Clowning Around animatronic also features a moving head and light-up eyes, and his mouth moves as he says six twisted sayings while his victims scream in the background:
- “Ah-hyuk! Well, look at these two little ones, all wriggly and squirmy-like! They’re so cute I could just eat them up. Hey, that’s not a bad idea! Ah-hyuk yuk!”
- “Hey now, there’s no need to be like that! We’re gonna have SO MUCH FUN together huh huh! Just you wait, soon you’ll be screaming with happiness screams See? We’re all having fun now hyuk-hyuk”
- “Hey you two, trying to get by me without giving me a hug?! Why, you could have hurt my feelings if i had any. Shucks, I’d run away from me too if I could! Hoo hoo hoo!”
- “Looks like I got some new material for my act. Don’t worry now, I’m a pro-fessional. I do wonder though, should I juggle you with torches or chainsaws? Huh-hahhahaha! They both sound fun to me! Hahahah”
- “Hey, you there! I’m trying to figure out what to do with these two little tykes. But, as you can see, they’re a bit unwilling to cooperate. So, should I put them in the box? Or in the pot? Huh huh huh I know, right?! Either way sounds great to me. Huh-huh ha!”
- “Little Uncle boo-boo climbin’ through your window, scoopin’ up the children and bitin’ off their heads. screams Huh huh. Oh, come on! Everybody’s a critic. Huh-huh-ha!”

Rick Ratman
The second animatronic revealed over the weekend was Rick Ratman. Standing just over six feet tall, Rick Ratman is a rat-infested zombie animatronic that features a rat protruding from his skull and one that can be seen dangling in a hole where Rick’s torso used to be. The Rick Ratman animatronic grunts and his rats screech as he swings side to side, waving his single arm.

While the halfway to Halloween fun appears to be over, there’s sure to be even more reveals from Spirit Halloween in the coming weeks and months as we ramp up to Halloween shopping season, which usually kicks off in July and August.
