A Pair of Witches and Their Animal Apprentices Offer Monster Townsfolk ‘Wild Help’ in New Cartoon Network Short

Cartoon Network rang in the new year by releasing a new animated short called “Wild Help,” which features a pair of witches and their animal apprentices whose business is helping others.

The short was created by Niki Yang, who “Adventure Time” fans will recognize as the voice of Finn and Jake’s video game companion BMO. In it, we meet a pair of witches and their six animal apprentices who run Wild Help, a business that helps members of the monster community with various needs that range from helping a skeleton put himself back together to assisting a vampire with opening a jar of fresh blood.

While the short features an entire cast of monstrous characters, its story revolves around Jelly, a well-intended squirrel that tries as he might, can’t seem to effectively help. Frustrated and on the verge of quitting, Jelly finally finds his helpful talent with the aid of his fellow apprentices and some inspiration from the Grand Master Helper (Who I noticed looks like she could have been inspired by the witch costume Shock wears in The Nightmare Before Christmas).

“Wild Help” is full of the wacky humor Cartoon Network has become known for and gives us some Halloween-esque fun for the new year. Check it out below:
