For as long as I can remember Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion has been my favorite ride at the park. Over the year’s I’ve collected tons of memorabilia from the ride, but for
Donna Collins completed the Haunted Mansion-inspired home office makeover while her husband was out of town for five days and leveraged artifacts and memorabilia the couple had collected over the last 20 years to turn the 10-by-13 room into a Haunted Mansion lovers dream.
The office includes the iconic stretching portraits, actual curtain tassels that were used in the ride, a fan made replica doorknob from the Disneyland ride, Victorian wallpaper that matches the motif used in the attraction’s foyer and so much more. Collins even framed her wedding portrait with her husband’s head missing to pay homage to the attraction’s attic scene, which was revamped in 2006 to feature a new bride by the name of Constance who as you may know, has a history of husbands who’ve lost their head.
You can see more photos of this office and its memorabilia and the story behind its transformation over at The Orange County Register.
