A24 has released a special Blu-ray edition of Jane Schoenbrun’s coming-of-age horror “I Saw the TV Glow.”
The film stars Justice Smith (“Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves”) as Owen, a teenager just trying to make it through life in the suburbs when his classmate (Brigette Lundy-Paine; “Bill & Ted Face the Music”) introduces him to a mysterious late-night TV show: a vision of a supernatural world beneath their own. In the pale glow of the television, Owen’s view of reality begins to crack.
The new release features extras that include a filmmaker commentary with Jane Schoenbrun and Brigette Lundy-Paine, deleted scenes, a new featurette, and six collectible postcards featuring special photography by Josiah Rundles and Spencer Pazer.
The “I Saw the TV Glow” Blu-ray is now available from A24 for $30.
