The Lore podcast has a spooky vibe. And when “Lore” became an Amazon Prime series based on Aaron Mankhe’s weekly podcast about frightening folklore it kept that vibe. But ahead of season 2 of the series, a new trailer suggests the tone of the show may have shifted to straight up horror in the coming season. Opening with a girl strapped to a table with her mouth sewn shut and ending with a woman being spattered in blood, the trailer suggests this season may be telling some much darker, and scarier tales compared to the last.
The Prime Original series from executive producers of “The Walking Dead” and “The Exorcist” will return on October 19, 2018 with six new true tales.
