Previously I shared the spooky titles coming to PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold this month, but today Amazon Prime dropped their free games for the month and they are chock full of spooky titles just in time for Halloween.
The first game in the lineup is “Adam Wolfe,” a puzzle adventure game where you play as a supernatural investigator who while investigating the mysterious disappearance of your sister begin to slowly unravel a larger conspiracy.
The second free game available this month is “The Walking Dead: Michonne,” the spinoff miniseries from Telltale’s acclaimed “The Walking Dead” franchise. Starring the iconic, blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books, the game explores Michonne’s temporary absence in the comic book and gives the backstory on where she went and ultimately what brings her back.
Also this month, gamers can download “Stranger Things 3: The Game,” the companion to the recent third season of the hit Netflix Original Series that I covered previously here on All Hallows Geek.
Finally, Amazon Prime subscribers can download “Deadlight: Director’s Cut,” the 2016 re-release of the popular side-scrolling horror survival game.
Set in an apocalyptic 1986, you play Randall Wayne, a lone survivor searching for his loved ones in the ruins of Seattle. Through tense platforming and deadly encounters with the undead, known as ‘shadows’, you’ll either fight using scarce resources, or navigate the environment to run and hide from them.
These free games are available through Twitch Prime, which is included with all Amazon Prime memberships. Twitch Prime’s free games will be available the entire month of October. If you’re new to Twitch Prime, you’ll need to link your Twitch account to your Amazon Prime account before claiming the games. You can view the full lineup of free games and in-game loot at twitch.amazon.com.
