AMC+ Gives Us Our First Look at ‘Interview with the Vampire’ in Super Bowl LVI Spot

Super Bowl LVI aired on Sunday, and of course, one of the big draws of the big game is advertising. And while the AMC+ ad may not have been filled with celebrity cameos, or buzzworthy gags, it did have a treat for those interested in AMC’s television adaptation of Anne Rice’s “Interview with the Vampire.”

AMC+ debuted a first “taste” of the highly anticipated series in a Super Bowl spot highlighting its 2022 lineup featuring a voiceover from Better Call Saul’s Giancarlo Esposito. The ad also included clips from AMC’s growing lineup of “The Walking Dead” content, including The Walking Dead’s final season – with the series’ first episode from Season 11 Part 2 now available exclusively on the streamer – “Fear The Walking Dead,” and “Tales of the Walking Dead.”

“Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire” will premiere on AMC and AMC+ later this year and is based on Anne Rice’s iconic and bestselling novel, “Interview with the Vampire.” The series follows Louis de Pointe, Lestat De Lioncourt, and Claudia’s epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality. Executive produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson (“Breaking Bad”), creator and showrunner Rolin Jones (“Perry Mason”), along with Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice, the series stars Sam Reid as Lestat, Jacob Anderson as Louis, and Bailey Bass as Claudia. The series’ first season consists of seven episodes.
