Anna and the Apocalypse has held a special place in my heart since I first got wind of it about a year ago. The Scottish coming-of-age zombie musical based on a 2010 BAFTA-winning short film Zombie Musical, has everything you could ask for in a holiday film: Zombies, music numbers, humor, and a lot of blood. The film, which has been on the festival circuit for what feels like forever, was picked up by Orion Pictures earlier this year and is finally coming to theaters. This week Orion dropped the first official trailer for the film and while it has a much different tone than the teaser I watched last year, it has me just as excited for the film’s release.
