ARROW’s June Lineup Headlined by Spiritual Thriller ‘The Righteous’

Arrow Video has announced its June 2022 lineup for its subscription-based ARROW platform. The lineup leads with the ARROW release of Mark O’Brien’s spiritual thriller “The Righteous,” an award-winning standout on the genre festival circuit, headed to the platform on June 10.

But ARROW has plenty more to offer genre fans ahead of its premiere. As of Wednesday, fans can experience all six films in Charle’s Band’s tech-noir cyberpunk franchise with The “Trancers” Collection. ARROW has also released a new collection of new and contemporary classics with “The Art of Cult,” which features films like “Children of the Corn,” “The Hills Have Eyes,” “The Stylist,” and “Ringu.” Fans can now also stream “Hell High,” a twisted tale of delinquency pushed to its horrifying extreme starring Christopher Cousins (“Breaking Bad”) and Christopher Stryker.

On June 6, ARROW will launch “The Vinegar Syndrome Collection.” The new collection of underground genre films will include titles like “Avenging Angel,” “The Passing,” “Star Time,” and “Sweet Sugar.”

On June 10, in addition to the premiere of Mark O’Brien’s debut feature, “The Righteous,” ARROW will premiere a new Season called “I Think You Should Leave,” which explores the themes of how politeness can turn deadly. “The Righteous” will be one of the titles in this Season, along with “The Bloodhound,” “Two Thousand Maniacs,” and “Shiver of the Vampire.”

Lastly, on June 10, discover “Viy,” the first horror film ever produced in the Soviet Union. In 19th century Russia, a seminary student is forced to spend three nights with the corpse of a beautiful young witch. But when she rises from the dead to seduce him, it will summon a nightmare of fear, desire, and the ultimate demonic mayhem.

On June 13, the overnight crew at a supermarket find themselves falling prey to “The Intruder.” Featuring early appearances by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, this 1989 cult slasher sees bodies pile up one by one in the most gruesome fashion.

June 16 explores the question of what dangers lurk when the clairvoyant cannot see with “Should Have Seen It Coming,” a collection of films that include “Dark August,” “The Premonition,” “Death Has Blue Eyes,” and “Psychic Killer.”

June 17 delivers a trio of terror for ARROW fans: “Blood Dolls” and the cult classic slasher sequels “Maniac Cop 2” and “Maniac Cop III: Badge of Silence.”

June 20 caps off the month with an ode to the American Genre Film Archive with “The AGFA Collection.” This celebration of the genre film preservers includes the titles “Bat Pussy,” “Who Killed Captain Alex,” “She Mob,” and “The Zodiac Killer.”

ARROW is available in the US, Canada, the UK, and Ireland on Roku, Apple TV & iOS devices, Android TV and mobile devices, Amazon Fire devices, and on all web browsers at https://www.arrow-player.com. Title availability can vary by region.
