Between 2014 and 2016, Bif Bang Pow! four waves of 3 3/4 inch action figures inspired by some of the most iconic characters from the classic “The Twilight Zone” television series. After six long years, they’re back with the fifth series of figures, which is made up of some of the most popular characters from the first four waves, including the Gremlin from “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet,” the Invader from “The Invaders,” Kanamit from “To Serve Man,” Talky Tina from “Living Doll,” and the doctor and nurse from “Eye of the Beholder.” Check out the new figures below, with links to purchase each:
“Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” Gremlin
The 2022 series figure features an updated darker body color and updated packaging. The figure features five points of articulation: neck, shoulders, and hips. The figure is inspired by the Gremlin, that horrifying creature from the memorable The Twilight Zone episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” that starred William Shatner.
The 2022 release of the Invader features updated black body color accents and updated packaging. The figure features four points of articulation: shoulders, and hips, and it is inspired by the Invader in the in the memorable “The Twilight Zone” episode “The Invaders” that starred Agnes Moorehead. The figure comes with two light stick accessories, which he can hold.
The 2022 release of Kanamit features an updated silver shimmer body color and updated packaging. The figure features five points of articulation: neck, shoulders, and hips, and is inspired by Kanamit, a considerably covert character set on adding mankind to his menu of delectable dishes in the rather disturbing “The Twilight Zone” episode “To Serve Man” from 1962. The figure comes complete with a cookbook accessory.
The updated Talky Tina figure features an updated darker dress color, darker hair, and updated packaging. The figure features five points of articulation: neck, shoulders, and hips, and is inspired by Talky Tina, star of “Living Doll,” one of the most spine-chilling episodes of “The Twilight Zone” ever aired, and starring Telly Savalas.
“Eye of the Beholder” Doctor Bernardi
The 2022 release of Doctor Bernardi features the doctor in darker-colored scrubs with a silver stethoscope and updated packaging. The figure features five points of articulation: neck, shoulders, and hips, and is inspired by Doctor Bernardi from the second season’s 6th episode entitled, “Eye of the Beholder,” written by Rod Serling.
The nurse from “Eye of the Beholder” makes a perfect pairing for the Dr. Bernardi figure. The revamped figure features darker-colored scrubs and shoes, comes in updated packaging, and features five points of articulation: neck, shoulders, and hips.
