Bloober Team’s latest psychological horror game “The Medium,” is set to be released on January 28, 2021, and today the developer released a live-action trailer giving viewers a lifelike glimpse at the new game.
Created in cooperation with Platige Image and Oscar nominee Tomasz Bagiński, the new trailer brings scenes from the upcoming game to life using live actors and CGI. Like past trailers and gameplay footage, the trailer focuses on the dual reality gameplay that makes “The Medium” so unique. Showing the horrors of both the real world and the spirit world, which the game’s protagonist Marianne can easily transition between thanks to her medium abilities.
In “The Medium” players assume the role of Marianne, a medium hounded by visions, living and interacting across two worlds: the real, and the spirit world. Nothing is what it seems, everything has another side. As a medium with access to both worlds, you have a wider perspective and can see more clearly that there’s no one simple truth to what others perceive.
“The Medium” is scheduled to be released on PC and the Xbox Series X and S.
