Director Thomas Hamilton’s feature documentary “Boris Karloff: The Man Behind The Monster,” which tells the story of the life and career of the horror icon is getting a limited theatrical release in North America thanks to Shout! Studios and Abramorama.
The film explores the life and legacy of the cinema legend’s 60 year career, along with the genre he helped define and the filmmakers his work influenced – among them Guillermo Del Toro, Ron Perlman, Roger Corman and John Landis all of which appear in the film to share their personal insights and anecdotes.
The film will get a limited release on September 17, 2021.
