Everyone’s favorite trick or treater, Sam from the movie Trick ‘r Treat is the latest horror icon to get the Burst-A-Box treatment from Mezco Toyz. The toy maker announced today pre-orders for the toy and shared prototype images of the jack-in-the-box style toy.
Designed after his appearance in the film, Sam features a detailed burlap sack head sculpt with button eyes and a spring body clothed in orange pajamas, all encased in a tin music box.
The toy stands 14″ tall when “popped” and comes packaged in a collector-friendly window box with Sam popped-out, perfect for display.
Burst-A-Box Sam is available for pre-order now for $50 on the Mezco Toyz website. Burst-A-Box Sam is expected to ship starting in September of this year.
