In 2019, CandyStore.com crowned candy corn the worst Halloween candy. This week, the candy shopping website released its 2021 rankings, and the polarizing Halloween treat was again at the top of the list.
CandyStore.com created the list using twelve best and worst candies lists published by reputable websites and paired those lists with its own survey data of over 17,000 customers. They then did some Excel spreadsheet magic with the lists giving each candy on the list a weighted number to determine this year’s worst candies.

Candy corn continues to get a bad wrap, which is perhaps why so many candy makers have tried to reinvent the Halloween staple in recent years. In 2019 Ferrara released five new varieties of the Halloween treat, and this year NERDS took a stab at it, which brings us to 2021’s best Halloween candies, where NERDS actually round out the list at number 10.
