Candystore.com Releases 2019’s Top Halloween Candy by State

Last year, Candystore.com debuted “America’s Favorite Halloween Candy,” an interactive map that showed the most popular Halloween candy in each of the 50 states. Using 12 years of Halloween data along with contributions from major candy manufacturers and distributors, Candystore.com has updated the map for 2019.

Compared to last year, only 15 states stuck to their favorite candy choices and interestingly there seems to be a nationwide shift away from chocolate-based candies to more fruitier flavors. Even my home state of California went from bite-sized chocolate pieces to bite-sized fruity flavors by switching from M&Ms to Skittles.
