Care Bears and Universal Monsters have announced a new collaboration to bring “a beary scary mash-up” of new products inspired by the two character licenses. The new collection transforms the classic Care Bears characters into some of your favorite universal monsters, such as Frankenstein’s Monster, Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, and more.
While we don’t yet know what the full lineup will include, the announcement was quickly followed by an image showcasing some of the new products, including plush figures, Funko Pop! figures, and a series of cosmetics.
While an exact release date for the collection was not announced, the social media posts announcing the collaboration said the new collection of products will be featured at Hot Topic stores soon. Additionally, a recent Loungefly Halloween drop featured several items from this collection that are currently available for pre-order. Bloody Disgusting has also reported that “Universal UNIVRS stores at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood will offer an array of spooky fun fashion apparel inspired by these mashups this fall.”
