On its final day of Geeked Week, the weeklong celebration of all things genre at Netflix, Netflix unveiled the title and a brief teaser for its next “Castlevania” anime series, which they first announced during last year’s Geeked Week.
The new series, from showrunner Kevin Kolde, will focus on Richter Belmont — a descendant of “Castlevania” characters Trevor and Sypha — and Maria Renard and is set during the French Revolution.
The new series is currently in production from Powerhouse Animation. No further details on the plot or a release window were announced. Check out the announcement trailer for the new series below:
