‘Chucky’ Picked Up for a Second Season Ahead of Season 1 Finale

The USA Network/SYFY hit series “Chucky” has been renewed for a second season.

The small screen revival of the horror franchise favorite has aired jointly on USA and SYFY and pulled in 9.5 million viewers in its first season. The series from “Child’s Play” creator Don Mancini continues Chucky’s original storyline from the “Child’s Play” and Chucky films, bringing with it cast favorites Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky and Jennifer Tilly.

“We’re thrilled to start pulling the strings on a second season of puppet mayhem with ‘Chucky,'” said executive producer Don Mancini. “Many thanks to our partners at USA, SYFY and UCP for their incredible support and guidance bringing ‘Chucky’ to the small screen, bigger than ever. And to the fans, Chucky sends his still-undying thanks, and a message: ‘This isn’t over, not by a long shot. You better watch your backs in 2022!'”

The season finale of “Chucky” will air Tuesday, November 30, at 10 PM ET/PT on USA and SYFY. The entire first season of the series will be available to stream on the NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock starting December 1.
