On Wednesday, SYFY released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of “Chucky,” the small-screen continuation of the “Child’s Play” franchise from Don Mancini.
After his diabolical plan to invade America’s children’s hospitals was foiled in season one, Chucky now seeks revenge on those he holds responsible: surviving teens Jake (Zackary Arthur), Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) and Lexy (Alyvia Alyn Lind), along with his ex Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), now his sworn enemy.
The trailer gives us an extended look at Lachlan Watson, who joined the cast of “Chucky” for its second season in the dual role of twins Glen and Glenda, the offspring of Chucky first introduced in the film “Seed of Chucky.”
“Chucky” returns to SYFY and USA Network on October 5 at 9/8c.
The series is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, and executive produced by Don Mancini, Nick Antosca, Alex Hedlund, David Kirschner and Jeff Renfroe.
