Comic Creator Jeremy Haun Launches ‘Curious Haunts’ Video Podcast Series

Comic book creator Jeremy Haun has launched a brand-new video podcast series, “Curious Haunts,” on YouTube.

The horror-themed series will feature host Haun inviting viewers to accompany him on his travels as he explores abandoned spaces, spooky bars and restaurants, locations that inspired horror genre favorites, oddities shoppes, and delightfully weird corners of the cities he visits. In addition to travel segments, “Curious Haunts” will regularly feature Haun sharing his favorite cocktail recipes in his Coroner Bar, unveiling favorite mementos from his cabinet of curiosities, and reviewing horror-related films, television shows, and books in his Odditorium.

The inaugural episode features part one of Haun’s “The Shining Excursion,” inspired by Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick’s respective horror masterpieces. Future episodes will include special guests and travel segments from locations that include Los Angeles, Seattle, and Chicago. Episodes will be released every two weeks on Tuesdays on YouTube.

Haun is the co-creator of Image Comics’ “The Beauty,” which is currently being adapted into a television series by Ryan Murphy for FX starring Evan Peters, Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Rebecca Hall, and Isabella Rossellini. Haun is also the co-founder of Ignition Press, the new comic book and graphic novel publisher debuting later this year, which is producing the video podcast series alongside Haun. Haun has worked with virtually every major publisher in the industry in his 20+ year professional career, including Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and BOOM! Studios, and many more contributing to franchises, including “Batman,” “Captain America,” “Constantine,” “The Darkness,” and “Spawn.”

“Curious Haunts” is hosted by Jeremy Haun and produced by Haun, Bre Sarpy, and Ignition Press. The show is directed and edited by Nicolás Neal with assistant direction and script supervision by Ethan Haun.
