Last week, Haunted House FearFest announced its 2024 Film & Television lineup. On Friday, the genre festival announced the addition of the 1999 film “Curse of the Blair Witch” to its lineup.
“Curse of the Blair Witch” will play at the festival on Saturday, October 26, 2024, with a special post-screening Q&A with producer Michael Monello, who also served as a producer on “The Blair Witch Project.”
“I am delighted to meet NYC’s horror fans at Haunted House FearFest this year and share my favorite part of the Blair Witch story, a fake documentary about a fake documentary about the Blair Witch,” said Monello.
“Curse of the Blair Witch” joins a three-day lineup that includes an exclusive sneak peek of season 3 of HauntTV’s hit series “Haunted Discoveries,” a spinoff of “Ghost Hunters;” four feature films, and over a dozen short films.

“Curse of the Blair Witch” is a mockumentary about the Blair Witch legend and the events in the 1999 found-footage horror “The Blair Witch Project.” The film first aired on the Sci-Fi Channel in July 1999 as a promotional prelude to the release of “The Blair Witch Project.”
