Film composer and singing voice of Jack Skellington, Danny Elfman, is bringing his immersive “The Nightmare Before Christmas” live-to-film concert experience back to Southern California for Halloween 2021.
The concert is scheduled for Friday, October 29 at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Elfman will reprise his role as Jack Skellington for the concert and has teamed up with conductor John Mauceri, who will lead a full orchestra and choir as they perform songs live alongside the film. Elfman has also teased special guests stars as part of the performance, but has not made any official announcements.
The concert will be the first of its kind at the soccer stadium and will feature a visual experience designed specifically for the venue. The event will also include a pre-show comprised of a costume contest and trick-or-treating.
Ticket prices range from $39.50 to $179.50 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 14 at Ticketmaster.com.
