Disney Channel has released the official trailer and key art for its new series “Pretty Freekin Scary,” which is set to premiere on June 15.
The series follows Frankie Ripp (Eliana Su’a), a fourteen-year-old girl with the perfect life — a great family, an annoying little brother, a popular boyfriend, and a BFF she could always count on, until she dies. After some heated debate in the Underworld with the Grim Reaper herself (Siobhan Murphy), Frankie is allowed to return to the normal world but is forced to bring with her her new Underworld guardians, Pretty (Kyan Samuels) and Scary (Leah Mei Gold). Now she has to adapt to her ‘once dead status’ in the most challenging setting of all…Middle School.
“Pretty Freekin Scary” will have a two-episode premiere on Disney Channel at 9 PM EDT on June 15, with two new episodes debuting at the series’ regularly scheduled time on Fridays at 8:30 PM, beginning on June 23. Episodes will premiere next day on Disney+.
