On Monday, Disney Parks announced the return of its Halfway to Halloween celebration. Early details suggested that as part of the events leading up to the day-long #HalfwaytoHalloween event, they would be hosting a “Hocus Pocus” watch party. Today, the event was confirmed.
@DisneyParks will be hosting a “Hocus Pocus” Twitter watch party on Wednesday, April 27 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT using the hashtag #HocusPocusWatchParty. Disney is encouraging fans to watch along using the Disney streaming service Disney+, but you can, of course, join the party using your “Hocus Pocus” DVD or Blu-ray as long as you start the film at the same time as everyone else on Twitter. While no names have been announced, Disney has promised “a special guest” as part of the event.
Join us April 27 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT as we kickoff #HalfwayToHalloween by watching Hocus Pocus on @DisneyPlus! Before hitting play, cook up some party treats that will put a spell on you and your guests. https://t.co/cyremnw6iR

If you want to make your Watch Party a little more special, Disney Parks has released recipes for Witch’s Flight, a trio of cocktails that originated at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar at Disney Springs, and Winfred’s Pumpkin Broomstick Twists. Both recipes are available now on the Disney Parks Blog.
