Last year, Disney Parks hosted a special #Halfway2Halloween Takeover Celebration on its online properties. On Thursday, The Disney Parks Blog announced the event’s return for 2021.
On Friday, May 7, Halloween will again take over the Disney Parks Blog. In Thursday’s announcement, Disney revealed that throughout the day, they’ll be “sharing nothing but treats” that includes a special announcement, as well as a few “shriek, peeks” of this year’s Halloween merchandise, recipes, a “mummy approved” Disney+ playlist, not-so-spooky planDisney tips, Halloween wallpapers and more.
The fun will continue on May 8 over on the Disney Parks TikTok, where they’ll host a live behind-the-scenes look at the Haunted Mansion at Walt Disney World Resort and appearances from Walt Disney Imagineers. More details on the TikTok event will be announced during Friday’s festivities.
During the event, The Disney Parks Blog will also be transformed to feature a new, creepy look, and the site’s Halloween section will be updated with a “spirited” new design.
