Earlier this year when Disney announced that their annual Halloween party was moving from Disneyland to Disney California Adventure, they announced that a new “World of Color” show would be part of the event offerings and today the resort gave us a first look at what we can expect from the all-new nighttime spectacular.
The show, which is called “Villainous!” tells the story of an all-new character named Shelley Marie (this has to be a nod to Mary Shelley, the author of “Frankenstein” right?), a young girl trying to decide on a Halloween costume. But as she ponders her options she starts wondering if she could really be as strong and unique as some of her favorite Disney villains. Her wonder will take her on a journey that will bring her face to face with The Evil Queen, Ursula, Dr. Facilier, Hades, Jafar, Maleficent and more.
