Even though we’re just under a month out from the next “Stranger Things” game release, Netflix announced this morning an all-new “Stranger Things” video game, which is coming to mobile devices in 2020.
Though details were slim, Chris Lee, Director of Interactive Games at Netflix did share that the game will be a location-based RPG/puzzle game that will be available on both iOS and Android. It sounds like it may be in the vein of Pokemon GO! and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, in that you’ll be able to explore The Upside Down in the real world and work with other players to defeat the evil it brings.
The game is being developed by Next Games and will have a unique retro, 80s Saturday Morning Cartoon art style. More details on the game will be announced at a later date.
