Eli Roth and Crypt TV have teamed up with Meta for another horror VR experience, this time as a live-action TV series called “The Faceless Lady.” The first-of-its-kind series will span six episodes and premiere on April 4, 2024, at 5:00 PM PT in Meta Horizon Worlds. New episodes will drop each Thursday following the premiere.
Directed by John Ross and written by Jerome Velinsky, “The Faceless Lady” is set in Ireland and takes viewers into Kiloc castle, a magnificent stone fortress deep in the Irish countryside and home to the infamous’ Faceless Lady,’ a tragic spirit doomed to walk the crumbling manor for eternity. But her story is far from over, as three young couples are about to discover. Drawn to the castle by its mysterious owner, they have come to compete in historic Games. The winner shall inherit Kilolc Castle and all that lies within it… both the living and the dead.
Roth and Crypt TV teamed up with Meta previously for two other horror experiences with 2022’s “Trick-VR-Treat” starring Vanessa Hudgens, and its 2023 Valentine’s Day-themed slasher, “Be Mine.”

For those unable to watch the episodes when they premiere in the Meta Horizon Worlds, “The Faceless Lady” can be watched on demand in VR on Meta Quest TV. Fans without a Meta Quest VR headset can watch the first two episodes on Crypt TV’s Facebook page following their VR premiere.
