‘Eli Roth’s History of Horror’ Renewed for a Third Season at AMC

“Eli Roth’s History of Horror” has reportedly been renewed for a third season at AMC.

DEADLINE reports that the cable network has picked up six new episodes of the documentary series, hosted by award-winning horror film director, writer, producer, and actor Eli Roth.

The show brings together some of the biggest names in horror and has featured Robert Englund, Linda Blair, and Stephen King. The second season of “Eli Roth’s History of Horror” aired on AMC during the 2020 Halloween season and explored themes like houses of hell, monsters, body horror, and witches. The thirds season will reportedly feature episodes titled Sinister Psychics, Infections, Mad Scientists, Apocalyptic Horror, Sequels That Don’t Suck, and Holiday Horror.

“Eli Roth’s History of Horror” premiered on AMC in 2018. Each one-hour episode takes viewers on a chilling exploration of how horror has evolved through the eras and impacted society, as well as why loyal fans remain addicted to fear.

“Eli Roth’s History of Horror” season three will premiere sometime later in 2021.
