Ever since Dynamite Entertainment and Elvira, Mistress of the Dark teamed up in 2017, there have been several new comic book releases featuring the iconic horror hostess. With the recent announcement of the new series “Elvira in Horrorland,” there are now a total of four series and three specials from Dynamite featuring the Mistress of the Dark. While each features its own story arc, Elvira comic book writer David Avallone recently shared that there is, in fact, a continuity and order to the books.
Shared during an interview about the new crowdfunded special, “The Death of Elvira,” Avallone shared that the order of the various comic book series and specials is as follows:
- Elvira, Mistress of the Dark #1-12
- The Shape of Elvira #1-4
- Elvira, Mistress of the Dark: Omega Ma’am
- Elvira, The Wrath of Con
- The Death of Elvira
- Elvira Meets Vincent Price #1-5
- The upcoming “Elvira in Horrorland” series
