Blumhouse has announced that Emmy-nominee Nicole Byer (“Nailed It!”) will emcee, and creator/showrunner/director Mike Flanagan (“The Haunting of Hill House”) will be a special guest moderator for its highly anticipated BlumFest panel at New York Comic Con.
The panel, scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2024, at 2:30 PM in the Javits Center’s Empire Room, will give fans an exclusive look into Blumhouse’s upcoming 2025 theatrical slate and “Fear the Spotlight,” Blumhouse Games’ first game, which will be released on October 22, 2024.
Blumhouse CEO & Founder Jason Blum and friends will take center stage to reveal some of the company’s eventful plans for its 15th anniversary next year and, with Atomic Monster, its most extensive slate of films ever as they share with NYCC attendees:
- The world premiere trailer debut for “Wolf Man,” directed by horror visionary Leigh Whannell. A Q&A session with Whannell will follow this.
- Exclusive first-look footage from Christopher Landon’s “Drop,” starring Meghann Fahy, and a Q&A with the director and actress.
- An exclusive first look at Jaume Collet-Serra’s “The Woman in the Yard,” starring and executive produced by Danielle Deadwyler.
- A Q&A with “M3GAN 2.0” star and producer Allison Williams, plus a special message just for NYCC attendees from M3GAN herself.
- A trailer for “Fear the Spotlight,” Blumhouse’s first video game.
New York Comic Con returns October 17 through 20, 2024, at the Javits Center in New York City.
