Two modern Halloween classics from Disney turn 25 this year, Hocus Pocus & The Nightmare Before Christmas and both are getting a special 25th anniversary Blu-ray release with multiple editions to boot. Here’s everything you need to know about the various releases, where to get them and what they include.
Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray & Digital
Hocus Pocus Anniversary Edition is being released on Digital and Blu-ray on September 4, 2018. Regardless of where you buy the Blu-ray or digital release, it will include We ♥ Hocus Pocus: Trivia And Treats Mode, which includes:

- Fun Facts and Trivia
- Behind-The-Scenes Secrets
- Original 1993 Production Featurette
Where things change is when you get to the various exclusive editions coming to Best Buy, Target, and F.Y.E.
Best Buy’s release will come in an exclusive collectible “spellbook” Steelbook case.
Target’s exclusive edition will come with a 40-page gallery book.
F.Y.E.’s exclusive edition will come with four glow-in-the-dark postcards.
The Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-Along Edition Blu-Ray & Digital
Things are a little different for the 25th-anniversary release of Tim Burton’s holiday classic The Nightmare Before Christmas, as it isn’t actually getting a true “anniversary” release. The new edition, which is also being released on September 4 is being deemed the “Sing-Along Edition.” The lack of anniversary for this title is likely due to the fact that the film got a special anniversary Blu-ray release for its 20th anniversary. The latest edition of the film doesn’t bring much with it in terms of new features. Aside from the “Sing-Along Edition” the special features on this disc are the same ones we’ve been served since the 2-Disc Collector’s Edition DVD came out in 2008:
