On Thursday, Epic Games debuted its latest pair of free games, and with it came a preview of the games that will be made available for free starting on November 17, and one of them is “Evil Dead: The Game.”
The news is rather exciting for PC gamers, considering “Evil Dead: The Game” was only released in May. The game, which typically retails for $39.99 on the Epic Games Store, is a co-op/PVP third-person shooter. In it, players play on a team of four survivors who must work together exploring, looting, crafting, managing your fear, and finding key artifacts to seal the breach between worlds or as the Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environmental objects & more as you seek to swallow their souls!
Despite being only six months old, the game has already seen several updates, including the most recent, which adds characters, missions, and additional weapons to the game inspired by 2013’s “Evil Dead” movie.
“Evil Dead: The Game” will be free in the Epic Games Store starting November 17 and will be available for free through November 24. To download the game, you’ll need to login into an existing or create an Epic Games account, but once you’ve claimed the game, it’s yours to keep and play for as long as you want.
