Face Your Fears with Peacock’s 2024 Halloween Slate

Streaming service Peacock has unveiled its 2024 Halloween slate, and this year, they’re inviting you to “face your fears” with more than 150 new Halloween titles arriving on the service now through Halloween.

This year’s slate includes everything from Universal classics like “Frankenstein,” “The Raven,” and “Phantom of the Opera, and nostalgic favorites like “Child’s Play,” “The Craft,” and “Candyman,” to frightening franchises like “Saw,” “The Purge,” and “Leprechaun,” and the best of Blumhouse, like “Get Out, “Halloween Kills,” and “Happy Death Day.”

As if that weren’t enough, Peacock is also bringing two originals to the platform this Halloween season: James Wan’s horror seriesย “Teacup”ย and the satanic panic thriller “Hysteria!”

Premiering on Thursday, October 10, with the first two episodes and two new episodes premiering weekly through Halloween, “Teacup” is inspired by Robert McCammon’s New York Times bestselling novel “Stinger.” It follows a disparate group of people in rural Georgia who must come together to survive a mysterious threat.

Debuting with all episodes on October 18, “Hysteria!” tells of when a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported “supernatural activity” triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them. The pop-horror thriller series stars Julie Bowen (“Modern Family”), Anna Camp (“Pitch Perfect”), and recurring guest star Bruce Campbell (“Evil Dead” franchise).
