Sure, we’re still a couple months out from San Diego Comic-Con, but that hasn’t stopped Factory Entertainment from getting folks hyped about their upcoming convention exclusive releases. The two most recent announcements will be perfect for fans of the Universal Monsters and drinking.
The first of the two convention exclusives announced is a Creature From The Black Lagoon Bottle Opener.
The officially licensed 5.5″ tall cast metal bottle opener features the creature from the 1954 film and features a convenient magnet that allows the opener to be hung on a fridge or other metal surface. The bottle opener is available for pre-order now on the Factory Entertainment website for $20 and can be picked up at their SDCC booth, or will be shipped after the convention.
The second convention exclusive released by Factory Entertainment is a box set of two heavyweight metal wine stoppers featuring The Creature from the Black Lagoon and Frankenstein’s monster.
Modeled after 1954’s The Creature from the Black Lagoon and 1931’s Frankenstein, each Universal Monsters™ wine stopper is artfully sculpted in solid metal and has a chrome plated base with a rubber stopper fitting. The Creature is finished in an antique brass effect, while Frankenstein’s Monster features a rich dark chrome plate.
The wine stopper set is available now for pre-order through the Factory Entertainment website for $25 and can be picked up at the Factory Entertainment booth during 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, or will ship following the event.
