Southern Californians haunt fans can add one more Halloween haunt to their 2023 list. Fairplex, home of the LA County Fair, announced a new LA County scare just in time for Halloween today.
“Fearplex Presents LIGHTS OUT” will offer guests an interactive screamfest through mazes and graveyards. Here, everything the imagination doesn’t desire is unfortunately within reach – the dead become the undead, monsters are real, and the giddy effervescence of a county fair morphs into a gory carnival of carnage! Dates of the event are October 6-8, 13-15, 20-21, and 27-31 from 6-11 p.m.
At LIGHTS OUT, darkness reigns, and the nightmares feared at bedtime come to life with heart-pounding intensity. In the dark, the possibilities are endless … dead endless. LIGHTS OUT is a destination of incomparable horror – perfect for the thrill seeker in most of us.
“It is time we put our scare on,” said Walter Marquez, Fairplex’s President and CEO. “Fairplex’s 100-year-old grounds are the perfect setting for a Halloween season event like this. We have a built-in infrastructure that can support an eerie narrative. Plus, I think people are always looking for new experiences to try.”
Fairplex is working with attraction producer Activate Entertainment to create LIGHTS OUT.
