Deadline reports that Satanic Panic, the horror comedy from Fangoria has been acquired by RLJE Films and will be distributed to big screens and digital on-demand on demand September 6.
The Chelsea Stardust directed film stars Hayley Griffith as a pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope who has to fight for her life – and her tips – when her last order of the night turns out to be high society Satanists in need of a virgin sacrifice.
The film premiered last week at the Overlook Film Festival to mixed reviews with some loving the film, while others felt it left much to be desired. Regardless, horror fans will have a chance to decide for themselves what they think of the film when it gets its theatrical release later this year.
