Day 2 of Funkoween, Funko’s halfway to Halloween online product reveal event, is nearing a close, and while the first half of the day was heavily dedicated to “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and the latter half heavily dedicated to Disney Villains, there have been a handful of standout products revealed in between.
First, Funko unveiled a new Walgreens exclusive Pop! figure inspired by Frankenstein’s Monster. The new Pop! figure will be released later this fall at Walgreens and is the second variant of the figure to be released. The latest figure features the monster in a blacklight color variant holding a flower. A standard version and glow-in-the-dark version of this figure were previously released.
For fans of “Stranger Things,” Funko unveiled a new Funko Soda figure of the character Dustin from the Netflix series. The latest figure is inspired by Dustin’s appearance in the show’s upcoming fourth season and will be limited to an edition size of 12,500. Like most Funko Soda figures, collectors will have a shot at getting a limited chase variant of the figure featuring Dustin in his Hellfire Club attire holding a walkie-talkie.
The new Dustin Funko Soda figure is available for pre-order now from Entertainment Earth and is expected to ship in September.
Also headed to the Funko Soda line is Slimer from “Ghostbusters.” The Slimer Funko Soda will have a glow-in-the-dark chase variant and features Slimer holding a hot dog. Slimer is limited to an edition size of 9,000 and joins past “Ghostbusters” Funko Soda releases Egon Spengler and Peter Venkman. Unfortunately, as of this writing, pre-orders for the Slimer Funko Soda figure are sold out; however, you’ll be able to purchase the figure here through Entertainment Earth when it’s released in July.
