Earlier this week, Sony Pictures gave us our first look at the “Until Dawn” movie courtesy of a first-look video showcasing how the filmmakers capture the essence of the video game the movie is based on in the film. Now, Sony Pictures has given us our first official trailer for the film, which is slated for an April 25, 2025 release.
Set one year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by oneโฆonly to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again – only each time, the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.
“Until Dawn” is directed by David F. Sandberg and written by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman. The film stars Ella Rubin (“Anora”), Michael Cimino (“Love, Victor”), โOdessa A’zion (“Hellraiser”), โJi-young Yoo (“Smoking Tigers”), โBelmont Cameli (“Along for the Ride”), โMaia Mitchell (“Good Trouble”), and Peter Stormare, who reprises his role as Dr. Hill from the “Until Dawn” video game.
Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, David F. Sandberg, Lotta Losten, Roy Lee, Gary Dauberman, and Mia Maniscalco produced the film, with Charles Miller and Hermen Hulst serving as executive producers.
