Funko has just debuted a new exclusive Funko Pop! figure inspired by the Basement Ghost from Mike Flanagan’s Netflix series, “The Haunting of Hill House.”
The new Pop! stands just under three inches tall and features the ghost in a crawling position, just as it’s seen in the Netflix series. The figure is exclusive to Funko.com and is currently available for $15.
“The Haunting of Hill House” is a modern reimagining of the Shirley Jackson novel of the same name. The series flashes between the past and the present, telling the story of a fractured family that confronts haunting memories of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.
The zombie-like Basement Ghost was featured in the third episode of “The Haunting of Hill House” when it attacked the character Luke, who accidentally wound up in the bootlegging basement while playing in a dumbwaiter.
While not explained in the series, the official Instagram account for the show identified the ghost as the burned, rat-eaten corpse of Edward Hill.
