This week Funko unveiled a new Funko Pop! and Loungefly Mini Backpack inspired by the Demogorgon from “Stranger Things.” The new items were revealed as part of Funko’s lineup of San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) Releases, which will be available as part of the annual convention taking place July 21 through July 24 at the San Diego Convention Center.
The exclusive new Demogorgon Pop! figure looks very similar to the previously released Demogorgon Pop! and features the “Stranger Things” monster with his mouth open but features glow-in-the-dark teeth.
The exclusive Loungefly Mini Backpack features the Demogorgon with its mouth open and arms outstretched on the bag with Funko Pop! versions of the “Stranger Things” characters Dustin, Will, Mike, Eleven, Lucas, and Max on the pocket and a wraparound print of the Hawkins forest skyline.
The two items are being released as a bundle, and fans attending SDCC will be able to try and get their hands on these exclusives at Funkoville, a unique experience focused on all things Funko which includes: an interactive movie theater, diner, and grocery store, Loungefly Boutique, and Mondo Record Store. If you cannot attend SDCC, you’re in luck, as Funko is also releasing the bag and Pop! figure online. These, along with many other shared exclusives, will be made available on Thursday, July 21, via Funko.com.
