Geeked Week 2024: Netflix Event to Include ‘Wednesday,’ ‘Don’t Move,’ ‘Stranger Things,’ and More!

Last month, Netflix set the date for Geeked Week 2024, and this week, the streaming service released the official trailer and further details about the event, which celebrates all things genre entertainment.

In its fourth year, Geeked Week is back and bigger than ever, offering current and new fans sneak peeks, news, and surprises from their favorite series, films, animation, and games.

Geeked Week kicks off on September 16 and culminates with Geeked Week Live, a live, in-person fan event at 8 pm ET on September 19 in Atlanta, GA, that will also stream live on YouTube, Twitch, and X around the world.

Based on the trailer and accompanying announcement, we know that this year’s event will feature plenty of titles for horror and Halloween fans to be excited about, including series like “Wednesday,” “Stranger Things,” “Black Mirror,” and “The Sandman;” anime like “Castlevania: Nocturn” and “Devil May Cry;” film’s like the Sam Raimi-produced horror “Don’t Move” and horror comedy “It’s What’s Inside;” and even Netflix’s Halloween season programming event “Netflix & Chills.”

This year, as part of Geeked Week, Netflix is also inducting Netflix’s best fans (as voted by other fans) into a permanent Geeked Hall of Fandom as a testament to their amazing cosplay, art, crafts, and creations around Netflix Geeked titles. The fans with the most votes will be honored on stage during Geeked Week Live and presented by Netflix talent with a custom award. Voting begins September 9 on GeekedWeek.com.

Tickets for Geeked Week Live are available now through Eventbrite, and admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Leading up to the event, Netflix will also be hosting several fan experiences in the area, including Geeks Who Drink trivia on September 16, Geeked Ink with creator-collab Netflix-inspired tattoos on September 18, a Twilight of the Gods fan screening with co-creator and executive producer Zack Snyder on September 18, and Geeked Goodies โ€” a Redlight, Greenlight livestream where fans online can win real Squid Game Season 1 props and other prizes. Event attendees can also visit the Netflix Has Games lounge to play our latest games and have the opportunity to win more goodies.

The weeklong Geeked Week celebration will take place online from September 16 through 18 across the Netflix Geeked YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok accounts.
