This year marks the return of Michael Myers (See what I did there?) to Universal Studios’ “Halloween Horror Nights” with the announcement of an all-new maze inspired by Halloween 4. The new maze will transport guests to the suburban town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night where Myers has escaped Smith’s Grove Sanitarium and is hungry for revenge. Guests will venture through the maze and follow Myers as he escapes the mental hospital, encounters his first victims at Penney’s Gas Station and Diner, and wreaks terror on Haddonfield, all set to Alan Howarth’s ominous score. The maze is coming to both Universal Studios Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood and you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the Halloween 4 maze at Universal Studios Hollywood in the video below. Watch as Creative Director John Murdy gives Trancas Films’ Malek Akkad and Halloween 4 director Dwight Little, a tour of the maze and highlights some of the iconic locations from the film that have been recreated for “Halloween Horror Nights.”
