Earlier this month, I shared with you that the makers of the 2020 hit film “Host” were reuniting to release a full motion video, horror game titled “GHOSTS.” Being made in partnership with Visible Games and Limited Run Games, the venture is being funded via Kickstarter. As of this writing, the campaign had reached 90% funded with five days left in the campaign. With the campaign coming down to the final stretch, writer and director Jed Shepherd has released a close-up image of the game’s antagonist, The Long Lady.
Designed by Siren Head creator Trevor Henderson, The Long Lady, is at the root of the urban legend the GHOSTS team investigates in the game. Haunting a neighborhood for decades, The Long Lady appears in times of tragedy, looking through the windows of houses along the street she haunts. It is said that if you look directly at her face, you die. Other images of The Long Lady were released as “evidence” in past campaign updates, but this latest image is the first to capture the terrifying apparition up close and more clearly.
For the final week of the campaign, new pledge options have also been made available. Backers can now choose from an exclusive Collectors Edition of the game, which includes a ton of “GHOSTS” swag, or tack on additional items to their existing pledge like a limited edition “GHOSTS” t-shirt from Fright Rags or limited edition “GHOSTS” art prints hand-signed by horror artist Graham Humphreys.
