Gizmo from ‘Gremlins’ Joins ‘MultiVersus,’ Stripe Coming Soon

Gizmo, the loveable Mogwai from “Gremlins” has officially joined the hit new free-to-play platform fighter “Multiversus” as one of the ever-expanding cast of iconic characters you can select as a fighter.

Gizmo joins the game with three main abilities: Hunters Bow, inspired by Gizmo’s flaming arrow scene from “Gremlins 2: The New Batch;” Gizmo-A-Go-Go, which allows players to attach to the back of their allies; Song of the Mogwai, a special song that spawns musical note projectiles that damage nearby enemies. Also in his arsenal is the iconic pink toy car, which Gizmo rides in to save Billy and Kate from Stripe at the end of the “Gremlins” film.

Speaking of Stripe, the lead Gremlin and main antagonist from the first “Gremlins” film has been added to the game’s roster and listed as “Coming Soon.” The sinister Gremlin also appears next to Black Adam, another character set to join the games roster sometime in the future, in the all-new season 1 artwork for the game on Multiversus.com.

Gizmo is available to play now in Multiversus, and you can check him out in action, in the gameplay trailer below:
