This year, Hallmark has decided it will release its San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and New York Comic-Con (NYCC) exclusive products online only in conjunction with each event. Among the four products unveiled is an exclusive “Ghostbusters” ornament.
The “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” Ecto-1 and R.T.V. ornaments with sound and light are limited to an edition size of just 3,000 and will be made available for purchase on the first day of each convention. Comic-Con@Home is scheduled July 23-25, 2021, and New York Comic-Con is scheduled October 7-10, 2021. Product allotments will be divided evenly between the two convention timeframes. Exclusives will be sold on a first-come basis starting at Noon Eastern Time (9 AM Pacific Time, 11 AM Central Time) on the first day of each convention.
Created by artist Rodney Gentry, the PopMinded event-exclusive Keepsake ornament features flashing lights and plays the iconic siren sound when you press the button. The ornament comes with a miniature version of the R.T.V. (Remote Trap Vehicle) from the new movie “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
