The Hallmark Dream Book has arrived for 2023, and with it comes several new Keepsake Ornaments that All Hallows Geek readers are likely to be excited about. This year’s lineup includes several new additions to Hallmark’s growing line of ornaments and decor from Disney’s The Haunted Mansion, “Hocus Pocus,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” as well as new Halloween ornaments.
The Haunted Mansion
The Haunted Mansion joined Hallmark’s lineup of Keepsake Ornaments in 2020 with the debut of its Hitchhiking Ghosts ornament. For 2023, Hallmark is debuting several new ornaments and a tree topper inspired by the popular Disney parks attraction. Connect all of The Haunted Mansion Collection ornaments—Madame Leota, Victor Geist, and The Coffin in the Conservatory—and The Haunted Mansion Tree Topper to unlock additional narrative content and sequential interactive performances.
Victor Geist Ornament With Light and Sound
The Haunted Mansion’s resident organist is the latest ghostly resident to join Hallmark’s The Haunted Mansion Collection. When plugged in to a Hallmark Keepsake Power Cord, Victor Geist remains illuminated. When you push the button on the side of his organ, he plays “Grim Grinning Ghosts” as a solemn waltz, as heard in the dinner party scene from Disneyland’s The Haunted Mansion. The ornament will be released on October 14 and will cost $44.99.
Madame Leota Ornament With Light and Sound
The mansion’s head fortune teller also joins the Haunted Mansion Keepsake Ornament lineup this year. This Christmas tree ornament features the iconic psychic medium in her seance room. Leota’s head and candles remain illuminated when plugged into a Hallmark Keepsake Power Cord. Push the button on the front of her table to hear her channel the spirits from regions beyond, as heard in the Disney theme park attraction. Madame Leota will be released on July 15 and will cost $44.99.
The Coffin in the Conservatory Ornament With Light and Sound
Rounding out the new Haunted Mansion Keepsake Ornaments is an ornament inspired by the coffin seen in the conservatory in the Haunted Mansion attraction. The coffin is illuminated from the inside, and when you push the button on the front, it plays the organ music from the scene in the attraction, and you hear the voice of the iconic skeletal specter begging to be let out. This all-new Christmas tree ornament arrives on July 15 and will cost $44.99.
The Haunted Mansion Musical Christmas Tree Topper With Light
If you want to tie together all the new Haunted Mansion ornaments in the collection, you can complete the look with the new Haunted Mansion Musical Christmas Tree Topper With Light. Inspired by The Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdon, this tree topper comes with a remote control that looks like the Disney parks attraction signage and doubles as an ornament. Press the button on the remote and hear music and dialogue from the attraction. Pair it with this year’s Keepsake Ornaments, and you’ll be able to experience nearly the entire theme park attraction on your tree! Hocus Pocus
The Sanderson Sisters made their Keepsake Ornament debut with the introduction of Winifred Sanderson in 2021. Hallmark is rounding out the trio with the release of Mary and Sarah Sanderson. All three witches will be available on July 15 for $19.99 each.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
For 2023 Hallmark is expanding its collection of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” ornaments with the introduction of the Citizens of Halloween Town. The set of five ornaments will debut on July 15 and includes Jack Skellington, Zero, Wolfman, Behemoth, and the Clown. The set will cost $74.99 when it’s released.
Halloween Ornaments
Of course, in addition to its typical line of Christmas ornaments, Hallmark is releasing a select number of ornaments themed to Halloween. This year’s lineup includes the usual suspects, including new Peanuts and the latest in its Hoppy Halloween Beer Stein ornaments and Happy Halloween jack-o-lantern diorama ornaments.
Snoopy’s Moonlit Mischief Musical Ornament With Light
This Halloween, Peanuts fans can delight in an all-new ornament featuring the beloved beagle Snoopy dressed as a witch and riding a broomstick with Woodstock across a moonlit sky. Press the button to see the moon light up and hear Snoopy cackle while music plays from “Ride of the Valkyries.” The new ornament will be released on July 15 for $26.99.
Mickey Mouse Mysterious Mickey Jack-o’-Lantern Ornament With Light
Mickey Mouse fans are getting a festive new Halloween ornament for 2023, a bright orange jack-o-lantern shaped like Mickey Mouse. The ornament features a ghoulish Mickey Mouse face that lights up when connected to Hallmark’s Keepsake Power Cord. This all-new light-up ornament will be available starting on July 15 and will cost $26.99.
Hoppy Halloween Beer Stein 2023 Ornament
The Hoppy Halloween Beer Stein’s made their debut in 2022, and they’re back for 2023 with an all-new design. This year’s stein body boasts an eerie haunted house design occupied by ghosts and skeletons and surrounded by tombstones and ghoulish heads. A rat scampers up the mug’s handle, resembling a rotting tree, to the cupola-shaped lid that opens courtesy of a vulture hinge. This year’s stein arrives on July 15 and will cost $17.99.
2023 Happy Halloween! Ornament
2023 marks the eleventh release in the Hallpy Halloween! Keepsake Ornament series. This year’s diorama-style jack-o’-lantern design features an adorable little black cat perched with its back arched on a black picket fence in front of a moonlit sky. The latest in the Happy Halloween! Ornament series arrives on July 15 and will cost $17.99.
Season’s Treatings Halloween Party 2023 Ornament
Halloween gets its very own Hallmark Season’s Treatings ornament this year with a Halloween Party 2023 ornament. The playful piece features a festive tray filled with tasty treats, including jack-o’-lantern cupcakes, frosted bat and ghost cookies, and a bubbly cauldron and frosty mug filled with a drink-at-your-own-risk lime concoction. The Season’s Treatings Halloween Party 2023 Ornament will be released on July 15 and will cost $17.99.
