Last month, Halloween Club announced the return of its annual Spook Show event, which was set to take place this April at their flagship store in La Mirada, CA. Today, the Halloween retailer took to social media to make the difficult announcement that they are postponing the event due to the current Coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement on social media, Halloween Clubs stated the following:
“Due to California Governor Gavin Newsome’s call to action that all events of more than 250 people be postponed, it is with sincere regret (but with understandably an abundance of caution), to announce that Halloween Clubs’ 8th annual Spook Show will be postponed until further notice. Current vendors will be reassigned new space and details for postponed Spook Show 8. Stay safe & healthy.”
Spook Show is one of the year’s earliest Halloween events in SoCal, and brings together over 100 local vendors who offer up a macabre mix of wares including art, decor, jewelry, and accessories for the thousands of Halloween enthusiast who attend. All Hallows Geek will be sure to share updates about the rescheduling of the event as soon as details are available.
