“Ghostbusters: Afterlife” isn’t coming to movie theaters until November. In fact, we just got the film’s second trailer this week. But that’s not stopping toymaker Hasbro from getting folks psyched about the upcoming film by releasing a new lineup of Plasma Series action figures inspired by the film.
This week Hasbro announced that the new generation of Ghostbusters, Lucky, Trevor, and Podcast would be hitting store shelves soon, with Phoebe joining the lineup this fall. Each of the figures comes outfitted in the tan Ghostbusters jumpsuits with Phoebe, Lucky, and Trevor rocking the iconic proton pack, while Podcast appears to come with the R.T.V. (Remote Trap Vehicle) and Ecto Goggles.
Also joining the lineup this fall are some familiar faces from the “Ghostbusters” franchise Winston, Peter, and Ray. While we knew Ernie Hudson, Bill Murray, and Dan Akroyd would be reprising their roles in the upcoming “Ghostbusters” sequel, these new figures seem to confirm that the characters will not just have cameos in the film but will be suiting up to again bust some ghosts. The trio of figures come outfitted in their original ghostbusters outfits and proton pack.
And finally, what good are Ghostbusters without a ghost to bust? Hasbro unveiled that each figure will come with a Build-A-Ghost piece that will create a Sentinal Terror Dog when combined.
According to Action Figure Insider, each of the new figures will retail for approximately $24.99 and will include additional film-inspired accessories not shown in the original images shared by Hasbro.
