Haunt of Halloween is set to conjure up a hell of a scary time this Halloween season on select nights starting September 30 through Halloween. This unique Halloween experience at Kaleidoscope Mall in Mission Viejo, CA, features a haunted maze, attractions, live entertainment, a pumpkin patch, and more.
At the heart of the event is Outpost 13, a 5,000+ square-foot haunted maze that’s psychologically designed to shock your senses, test your limits, and bring out your deepest fears. Here you’ll also be able to partake in the SCARE ZONE, where the tables are turned, and guests are given five minutes to try and draw blood-curdling screams from their victims — it’s where maze-goers get to scare the hell out of people.
But Haunt of Halloween isn’t just for the older Halloween fans. On weekends, from 2-5 PM, the event shifts to “kid fun mode.” The Not-So-Scary Haunted Maze is great fun and ideal for guests ages 6 – 12. They will enjoy a “less haunted” 3600 sq. ft. version of our haunted maze featuring Trick-or-Treating throughout the maze and fun activities… just without the fright! No special effects, scare-o-meter off, and theatrical lights on. There will also be a pumpkin patch with non-knife carving/decorating and spooky Halloween shows and acts. Costumes are encouraged.
Haunt of Halloween is the ideal Halloween experience for all Halloween fanatics. There’s something for everyone. The event also features an interactive reptile exhibit, a face your fears sensory attraction, and an up-close horror pop-up. Also, makeovers by Hollywood special effects make-up artists from Cinema Makeup School, free souvenir photo op, sideshows, meet and greets, Halloween-themed food (like pumpkin spice kettle corn), and more to get you into the Halloween spirit!
Scary Halloween Acts scheduled to appear live during the event include:
- Illusionists – Mind-blowing illusions of seemingly impossible feats that will leave you mystified.
- Freakshow Deluxe Sideshow – A shocking show that tests the limits of the human body, that’s known for wild, cringe-worthy stunts.
- Monte Revolta’s Shocktail Party – This show will be packed with creepy covers, comedy gags and audience victimization.
